Negative direction discharge
After finishing positive direction discharge, absorption tower will be filled with the reabsorbed impurities. At this time, it is required to discharge foreign gas out of absorption tower along negative direction of absorption. With the negative direction discharge, pressure of absorption tower will approach to normal pressure.
Purge
In order to lower fractional pressure of impure components, high-purity hydrogen will be adopted to purge adsorbent, so that adsorbent can be regenerated to the specified level.
Adsorbent can be regenerated under the combined effect of the foresaid steps.
Absorption preparation
Absorption preparation is mainly aimed to restore pressure of absorption tower to system pressure.
Equalization repressurization
Corresponding to equalization depressurization, it is the process boosting pressure of the absorption tower in proper order with high-pressure hydrogen from other absorption tower. Consisting of five times of equalization repressurization, it not only is absorption tower boosting process but also recovers hydrogen in bed space of other absorption tower.
Final repressurization
Pressure in absorption tower does not reach absorption pressure yet after finishing equalization repressurization, and in order to ensure absorption tower can be switched to next absorption procedure steadily and that hydrogen purity and pressure does not fluctuate in this process, back-up regulating valve is required to be sued to boost pressure in absorption tower to absorption pressure slowly and steadily with product hydrogen.
With this process, absorption tower can finish a complete “absorption-regeneration” cycle and a foundation can be laid for next absorption.
